Education

Seminars and workshops are held throughout the year to assist owners of historic properties with special historic building concerns. Locally advertised workshops are usually free and provide owners with valuable information about historic structures and their maintenance.

The Downtown Albany Public Library (Carnegie) at 302 Ferry Street also has a Preservation Resource Center that features a variety of historic resource materials including magazines, videos, books and local history. Contact Anne Catlin for workshop hand-outs at 917-7560 or by e-mail.
