• People who own/invest more in their neighborhoods.
• Opportunity to buy starter homes has become less and less.
• Ability to move up inch by inch is edged out by high costs.
• Oregon has inflated housing prices due to high tech work & money increases.
• Need to eradicate barriers for low-income people to buy homes and for the homeless to rent.
• Fair market has to include low-income.
• Longevity increases sense of community.
• Knowing your neighbors which increases with ownership.
• Decrease costs of actual buying.
• Increase availability of information about low interest loans and other means of buying homes. Perhaps, through city organizations, a point of contact, clearing house.
• A community is not healthy unless housing is available to everyone.
