- People who own/invest more in their neighborhoods.
- Opportunity to buy starter homes has become less and less.
- Ability to move up inch by inch is edged out by high costs.
- Oregon has inflated housing prices due to high tech work & money increases.
- Need to eradicate barriers for low-income people to buy homes and for the homeless to rent.
- Fair market has to include low-income.
- Longevity increases sense of community.
- Knowing your neighbors which increases with ownership.
- Decrease costs of actual buying.
- Increase availability of information about low interest loans and other means of buying homes. Perhaps, through city organizations, a point of contact, clearing house.
- A community is not healthy unless housing is available to everyone.
- Housing/rentals for homeless.
- Starter homes for low income.
