PARKS/PLACES WHERE PEOPLE CAN TAKE PETS

• Recommendation: at least one park/area declared "dog-friendly."
  1. Dog "stations" with doggy bags available.
  2. Dogs need to be able to run, under supervision.
  3. The biggest problem with "dog leftovers" is from people who ignore the leash law, or who "walk" after dark and don't clean up.
• Cats should be under same control as dogs?
  1. Threat to birds/feeders.
• Bridle path for horses? Developed with volunteers (4-H, etc.)
• Education: what can a citizen do when a leash law infraction is witnessed? (What is the leash law?) (What is "good neighbor" policy regarding dogs/cats/horses?)
