Takena Spray Park

Plans are currently underway to create the Takena Spray Park. Staff and neighbors have worked with architects and an initial design has been chosen. As this project progresses, the design will be finalized and a construction timeline created. The estimated price for designing and constructing the Spray Park will be $234,000. Plans include development of a capital campaign to raise $150,000 in cash donations. The balance of the funds ($84,000) will be offset with donations of time and materials.

The goal from the start has been to keep this project small and neighborhood friendly. The preferred option is one that would recycle the water using filters, pumps, and UV sanitation systems.
