Albany Municipal Airport
From the 1931 air show that dedicated the airfield to the Northwest Art & Air Festival held every summer, crowds have flocked to the airport to revel in the thrills of the past, and to peek at the exciting future that lies ahead.

In 1998, the airport became the first airport in Oregon to be named to the National Register of Historic Places, and was the City of Albany's fourth National Historic District.
Ongoing projects by the City are seeking to preserve and extend the use of the historic hangars on the property, to be sure that this transportation link remains an asset for our future.
