About Environmental Services
The Environmental Services Program protects the environment through safeguards on the City's wastewater treatment system and the stormwater system, which includes the areaâs creeks and waterways. The Environmental Service Program consists of the Industrial Pretreatment Program, other source control activity including stormwater monitoring, and the biosolids program. The Environmental Services Program is part of the Public Works Operations division, and our office is located at the Albany Wastewater Treatment Plant.
