Birth certificates in Oregon are filed with the state Vital Records Office in Portland. A person may request a copy of a birth certificate by mail, fax, phone, in person or via the Internet. Information about how to order birth certificates is available by calling (503) 731-4108, Monday -Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Pacific Standard Time.
