Albany Begins Fire Service to Millersburg

On Sunday, July 1, 2018, Albany Fire Department will begin providing fire protection and life safety services to the City of Millersburg and its residents. Albany crews will respond to emergency calls from all four area Albany stations to Millersburg until a temporary Millersburg fire station is completed. The Millersburg station, Station 15, is estimated to be complete in Fall 2018. Station 15 will be staffed initially with a two-person crew per 24-hour shift.

Albany Fire Department firefighters are dual-role personnel. They are certified firefighters as well as certified paramedics or emergency medical technicians. In addition to life safety response, Albany Fire will provide prevention services to the City of Millersburg, as well as responding to requests for public events.
