Albany Parks & Recreation receives requests to support community activities on a regular basis. The department is supported by tax dollars and event sponsorships/ donations, so the number of requests far exceed our financial capability. We appreciate your interest in receiving a donation and we will do our best to fulfill your request, but unfortunately, we are not able to provide support to all worthy projects and events.
To be considered your group must be a non-profit and you will need to complete this form 30 days prior to your event. You will be notified if your organization has been selected to receive support within 30 days of submitting the form.
Your request must also:
- Be related to our mission to promote healthy living through recreational experiences and serve as stewards of Albany’s public parks and facilities.
- Benefit the Albany community.
