Outdoor burning is prohibited throughout Linn County and all areas of Benton County served by the Albany Fire Department, until further notice.

The Linn County Fire Defense Board unanimously ordered the burn ban as a preventative measure against wild land and structure fires during extremely hot and dry weather.

All fires, including recreational fires in backyard fire pits, are strictly prohibited throughout the boundaries of all Linn County fire districts, including the City of Albany.

For more information about fire restrictions, contact your local fire department and visit city websites.
