A new Storm Drainage System Development Charge (SDC) Methodology is being proposed for adoption by Albany City Council. The new methodology is part of the process to adopt a new Storm Drainage SDC to help fund identified storm drainage improvements.
Oregon SDC law requires a minimum 90-day notification period prior to the first public hearing for adoption of a new methodology. A public hearing is scheduled for November 8, 2023, at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting. The Methodology Report will be available for public review on the City’s website on or before September 8, 2023.
Comments can be made at the public hearing or in writing (letter or email) to my attention in advance of the council meeting in November. Written testimony received 10 days prior to the hearing will be included in the Council packet.
