Ready, Set, Go!

Our new, Ready, Set, Go! class is geared for those children who will be starting kindergarten in the fall of 2013, and who have not had any previous preschool experience. Ready, Set, Go! will focus on those skills needed for a successful kindergarten year: social skills, pre-writing skills, letter recognition, fine motor skills, turn-taking and direction following.

Garden Classes

Designed for the slightly older child, the Garden classes will help students develop social skills and learn to function in small and large groups. They will improve their problem solving abilities and gain the skills needed to be life-long learners.

Rose Classes are for students turning age 4 by September 1. These classes focus on preparing your child for kindergarten and helping them develop the important readiness skills. Your child will enjoy a warm, nurturing environment where they will learn turn taking, pre-writing skills, letter recognition, fine motor skills, and direction following.

Blossom Classes are designed for children who will be age 3 by September 1. They focus on socialization through play in both small and large groups. Fine motor skills are developed through art activities, while large motor skills are gained through outdoor play and circle times.

Philosophy

At Maple Lawn Preschool, your child will be provided opportunities to build their self-esteem, have positive interactions with children of different abilities, ages, and backgrounds, and strengthen their problem solving abilities. Garden classes offer story-based curriculum for students ages 3-5. Our new Ready, Set, Go classes will help your child be successful in kindergarten. Both will help children develop their social, language, and motor skills. Call 541-917-7766 for class availability.
