What are the dog licensing requirements for the City of Albany?

Any dog six months of age or with permanent canine teeth which has been in your possession for 30 days must be licensed according to Oregon law. Albany requires dogs to have Linn County (or Benton County, if you live in North Albany) licenses. Linn County Dog Control enforces county animal control ordinances outside our city limits, while our animal control officer enforces our own city ordinances pertaining to dogs and other animals.
