Albany Parks & Recreation School’s Out Camps for Children and Youth

Albany Parks and Recreation is offering several camps during this spring break for children in grades 1-7.

School’s Out are 1-day camps be located at Maple Lawn, 1950 Old Salem Ave. SE. Camp dates are Tuesday through Thursday, March 24-26, 2009 from 9:00am-4:00pm. Campers need to bring a swimsuit, towel, and lunch each day. Activities include games, crafts, and local field trips. The cost of each day camp is $27 for in-city residents and $36 for those who live outside the city limits.

Horsing Around is a 4-day horse camp located at KeyVale Farms, Monday-Thursday, March 23-26, 2009 from 9:30am-2:45pm. Campers need to be between the ages of 6-17 and will need to bring a lunch and beverage each day. The cost of the camp is $222 (in-city) and $295 (out-of-city).

Drama Camp is a 3-day camp for youth ages 8-16 on Monday-Wednesday, March 23-25, 2009, 9:00am-3:00pm. Cost is $70 (in-city) and $93 (out of city). Campers will need to bring a lunch and beverage each day. North Albany Elementary School, 815 Thornton Lake Drive NW.
