The Albany Fire Department has been serving our community for over 150 years. We are an ‘all risk’ fire department that responds to the needs of the community regardless of the nature of the incident. In addition, our members work tirelessly to the reduce risk to our community through fire code compliance, emergency preparedness, and extensive risk reduction education.
We also provide the ambulance service for our community. Our emergency responders are highly trained, compassionate, and use state-of-the-art equipment to treat your condition or injury.
The members of our department take seriously their responsibility of fulfilling our Department’s mission: Prevent and Protect from Harm. They are professional, proficient, and deliver exceptional customer service to all those we encounter regardless of the situation.
